Stereolithography (SLA)

Using a resin based method from FormLabs, prints with minute detail are easily made. While more expensive, even the smallest of models can be printed successfully. Engineering resins are also available.

Fused Filament (FFF)

The most common type of 3D printing, thermoplastic filament is melted in a pattern layer by layer to build an object. Relatively inexpensive, it is perfect for functional prototypes and rough mock ups.
